Concept

Remodelling of a small white rendered 1950’s bungalow to create a modern ‘white box’. The creation of a raised terrace at the rear of the property and internal split-level layout maximised coastal views, whilst minimising overlooking of adjoining private properties.

The addition of roof lights to the kitchen and hallway ensures natural ventilation and light penetrate the deepest parts of the plan. A brown roof to the main house, replacing a conventional tiles pitch roof, and new sunken garage promote bio-diversity.
