Hanway Street

Summary
Four-storey plus basement new-build mixed use development.

Location
Hanway Street, London

Concept
Located behind Oxford Street in the Hanway Street Conservation, historically associated with London’s textile trade. The proposal includes the replacement of an existing office building with 3 luxury open-plan apartments and retail/commercial space at ground and basement levels. The design sought to articulate the buildings light industrial heritage on one side and a restrained modern interpretation of the Georgian terrace on the other.
