Bed-deck House

Summary
Modifications to a Georgian townhouse to provide 2 bed-decks for the clients children

Location
Gloucester

Concept
The brief was to create two bedrooms out of one for their teenage daughters whilst avoiding the need for a wholesale roof extension. The solution was to split the existing room in half and create two floating bed-decks. Rooflights and a vaulted ceiling were added to accentuate the quality of light to the lower level and to make each room feel more spacious.
