Restoration and roof extension to grade II listed property.
Birmingham City Centre
Located in Centenary Square directly adjacent to the central library Baskerville House is one of Birmingham’s most notable landmark buildings. The design consisted of the refurbishment and modernisation of 5 floors of accommodation, with the addition of 2 new floors at roof level.
The restoration and extension received a number of awards from industry bodies due to the sensitivity and quality of the design. It was described by the BCO as ‘a fine achievement and an excellent example of how refurbishment can add enormous value to both building and its setting’. The project won the Midlands Property Week award and the East Anglia Regional Award in the Refurbished/Recycled Workplace category at the British Council for Offices Awards.
